At the start of January a combined team of Moscow Demchenko Club aims to summit Shkhelda 3-rd Western, 4280m, via V. Balyberdin's route (5B-winter-Russian grade).
It is going to be the second ascent of one of the most logical routes for the summit of Shkhelda 3-rd Western. Since 1984 this route has not been repeated.
The expedition forms a constituent part of a great project with the aim: climbing on for a long time footless routes or opening new logical lines.
Evgeny Korol 26, is engaged in mountaineering since 2001, participant of Moscow Championship 2004-2006 (summer and winter technical class) and CIS Championship 2006 (technical class), candidate master. Ascents: Bodkhona, Volnaya Ispania, Ullu-tau, Chegem, etc.

Grigory Kochetkov 26, master of sport, is engaged in mountaineering since 2000. A philosopher by education, now- a post-graduate student, prize-winner of Russian Championship. 1st place on amount of 5B routes and harder in Russia climbed in 2005, Borovikov Cup 2005. In his active: 16 5Α- and 6-graded ascents including winter climbs and new routes. Single. Impressive and extravert character. Hobby - diving, paraplane flights.
